The Viva La Punk festival was held at CBGB's in New York City as a 3 day event on October 3rd, 4th, 5th in 2003. This festival featured some great USA and UK punk and hardcore bands. This was going to be a yearly event at CBs and the festival went over really well but due to the nature of the large crowd CBGBs will not allow another Viva Le Punk festival to take place there. This weekend had lots of great times with friends who traveled from all over the world to come to this festival. Awkward Thought played the main stage on Sunday October 5th.
